Bali hotels in May 2008 Based on the arrival statistics of the first quarter 2008 Bali is expecting a new all-time record year in visitor arrivals. Always has been good advice to book flights and hotel reservations several months ahead. Now in 2008 it's the only way that works. Airlines schedules to Bali are very tight right now, and you will not get any last minute flight unless you get real lucky. The same goes for last minute rooms at the resort you had in mind: It sometimes works, but most of the times, it does not. Start with flight tickets to see if there are still seats, if there are, reserve them. Don't ask "are they available" - Reserve them. That's the only way to get them. After they're confirmed, secure your hotel room. Then you're all set. So what about "last minute" and does it work in Bali? Actually "last minute" in Bali means to book today for next month, what sounds good in theory but this year you need to completely change your strategy or pick another island, and have to stay in one of the places with skyscrapers on the beach. They always have empty rooms. Bali has no skyscrapers and not their room inventory, actually a very limited quantity of rooms. Once you realize it's simple math and real numbers you will understand nobody can change that just to suit your preference of booking all your trips last minute. In that case we really appologize to not be able to fit you in. Do the math and book today. Do NOT delay, that never shows any results that could change your life or result in real vacations and the good times that come with it that you will have. And the memories plus videos to show to your friends and family for years to come. |

| How to pick the airline to fly to Bali ? |
Airline tickets vary in prices and conditions and more than one airline can bring you to Bali. The big difference between the airlines are in the route they take and from whom you will purchase the ticket from. Since routes are changing quite often, it makes sense to ask an agent about your particular flight, chances are they know or can find out. Experiences tell it's still 50% uncertainty left after they advice you, because schedules change faster than the normal travel agent can keep up with read more>> |

| Nightlife in Bali |
Bali's main areas that attract visitors also all have their night spots. The tastes are different, so for some people the nightlife has something to do with the "Happy hour" offered at many bars and restaurants, others just wake up at this time of day to get ready for the night according to the motto the-later-the-better. A preferred area is the Kuta-Legian-Seminyak strip, busy at all times of day and also open 'til late" or even 24 hours read more>> |
| Bali a Shopper's Paradise |
Guideline for the casual holiday shopper and the "shop till you drop" hard liner. Shopping is rarely a motivation to go anywhere that far away from home as Bali, unless you are doing it for business. However if you are visiting the island it can be great fun to see large ranges of fancy handicrafts and other unexpensive items that are produced locally on the island read more>> |
| Language of the Markets | As you fight your way through the streets, restaurants and markets of Sanur, Ubud and Kuta, you quickly realize that there is a small selection of "standard" English greetings and phrases used by many of the people involved in the tourist industry read more>> |
| Religion in Bali |
Many visitors who arrive in Bali do not realize that Bali is very different religiously, to the rest of Indonesia. Balinese people have been Hindus for eight hundred years.
